Vince Cordos
Mr. Cordos is a principal of Cogent, providing financial oversight of all the firm’s ventures. He combines expertise in construction management with over 15 years of owner/builder experience in real estate development and nearly 25 years in civil engineering to provide Cogent’s clients with a comprehensive approach to their development projects, from inception to occupancy and beyond.
Prior to co-founding Cogent, he served as President of Cordos Development & Associates, a Chicago-based construction and development firm, where he was PX for construction projects across multiple building markets ranging from the award-winning historical restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s prairie-style Emil Bach House to JOC programs for Chicago’s Housing Authority and the Public Building Commission. Prior to co-founding Cordos in 2002, Vince worked as a senior estimator and project manager for Salamone Builders where he provided estimating and CPM scheduling for multiple concurrent projects through-out the Chicago area.
Mr. Cordos earned his civil engineering degree from the California Polytechnic University, with post-graduate coursework in business administration. In addition to overseeing the financial and operational health of Cogent, Mr. Cordos is primarily responsible for client relations, maintaining the firm’s commitment to building successful, long term relationships through open communications, loyalty, and personal involvement.
